Signal Theory has a summer internship opportunity for an individual who is ready to experience life in advertising at one of the leading brand development, marketing and design firms. You’ll have the opportunity to work virtually and fully integrated into a cross-discipline team of pros focused on delivering great work to one of our coveted clients in the food focus area.
If you’re the go-to for how to do a pivot table or some other Excel formula, have a genuine interest in all things media (print, billboards, digital, broadcast), are a self-starter with a curious mind and know your way around PowerPoint, you may find our media planning and buying internship is just what you’re looking for. Some of things the media intern might do are; learn to use research software to identify target audiences and media trends, assist in preparing client presentations, source media costs and create media orders, work in social media platforms, track and analyze media results, attend vendor presentations.

Our 2024 summer internship is an in-person paid 10-week program beginning May 28 and continuing through August 9. You’ll be working in one of our two offices in Wichita, KS or Kansas City, MO, 3 days a week,Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, and get a firsthand look at how we find the “why” in human behavior. You’ll be supervised, coached and mentored by the best media experts at the firm. The application deadline is January 31, 2024.
