Signal Theory Takes Home a Gold ECHO for National Geographic AR Experience - Signal Theory

Last month, Signal Theory brought home a gold from the 2022 Association of National Advertisers (ANA) International ECHO Awards. The firm won in the Emerging Technologies category for National Geographic’s Everest Expedition AR Experience. In 2021, Signal Theory teamed up with National Geographic to (virtually) climb Mount Everest.

National Geographic is all about showcasing impressive adventures. This time, we turned a trip up Mount Everest into an easily accessible augmented reality experience. Users saw themselves bundled in appropriate climbing gear at key points – from base camp to the summit – while learning about each climbing stage and taking in 360° views of what life on the world’s tallest mountain is really like.

This was Signal Theory’s second year being recognized at the ECHO awards. The firm took home a silver and a bronze award at the 2021 ECHO Awards.
