
The Associate Project Manager shows great attention to detail and has a desire to drive workflow processes while mastering project fundamentals. A successful candidate will be able to collaborate with their teammates in order to develop a feasible project plan. They will be seeking a fast-paced environment in which to hone their skills.
The Associate Project Manager is responsible for supporting Project and Senior Project Managers in our goal of ensuring teams are producing great work quickly and efficiently for our clients. The Associate Project Manager reports to the Project or Senior Project Manager for their client(s) and works alongside members of a client team, including Account Managers, Strategists, Art Directors, Copywriters, Creative Directors, Developers and other shared resources.

Understand how projects move through the firm and identify which roles and disciplines need to be involved, with initial help from a mentor
Work with Project Managers or Senior Project Managers to create and communicate realistic project timelines and resource estimates, taking team and client needs into account.
Utilize our project management platform to track and maintain project details, ensuring team members know what they should be working on and when.
Act as an advocate and system administrator for project management tools, helping teammates troubleshoot issues and optimize workflow processes.
Keep themselves meticulously organized and maintain that same level of organization for their team’s current and upcoming projects.
Proactively identify and communicate project roadblocks, offering potential solutions and creating space for team members to raise concerns.
Play an active role in developing a solution to a project issue with relevant stakeholders
Work collaboratively with other project managers across the firm to keep workloads balanced across teams and shared resources.
Clearly communicate project expectations and next steps to team members in both written and verbal formats.
Consistently demonstrate empathy and fairness in team interactions.
Respond quickly to emails and chats that need input to move work forward, maintaining professional and timely communication.
Requirements
The requirements and experience the Associate Project Manager will need to have include:
0 to 2 years of experience managing projects in a business environment
Previous agency or marketing experience preferred
Knowledge of project management systems (ClickUp, Asana, Workfront, etc.) preferred
