A Project Manager shows great attention to detail and has a desire to drive the overall workflow process. A successful candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities for clients, have an understanding of producing a variety of work types, and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Project Manager at Signal Theory is responsible for ensuring teams are producing great work efficiently for their clients. Collaboration is important - they are part of the team and act as a coach for team members to complete the work. The Project Manager reports to the Senior Project Manager for the client team and works alongside members of the client team including Account Managers, Strategists, Art Directors, Copywriters, Developers, and other subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will:

  • Develop and communicate detailed project timelines and resource estimates, using menu pricing and input from senior team members.

  • Plan and manage how projects move through the firm by understanding the processes required to produce work across a variety of channels and knowing where specific individuals fit into each stage.

  • Anticipate what’s next and develop recommendations for upcoming projects and needed resources.

  • Proactively identify and communicate project roadblocks, offering potential solutions and creating space for team members to raise concerns.

  • Consistently demonstrate empathy and fairness in team interactions.

  • Clearly communicate expectations with their team members,

  • Utilize firm project management tools for timeline management, project updates and team communication

  • Act as an advocate and system administrator for project management tools, helping teammates troubleshoot issues and optimize workflow processes.

  • Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of project management systems, ensuring best practices are followed across the team.

Requirements

The requirements and experience the Project Manager will need include:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience managing projects in a business environment

  • Previous agency or marketing experience preferred

  • Knowledge of project management systems (ClickUp, Asana, Workfront, etc.)
