Working alongside our in-house production team, art directors, and producers, you'll be the visual storyteller who brings remarkable brands to life. You'll be instrumental in every stage of our creative process, helping craft the kind of work that wins awards and moves the needle for our clients.

Responsibilities

The Video Editor/Motion Designer will:

  • Edit video content 

  • Create engaging, complex animations for a diverse array of media, including but not limited to social media, digital banners, TV and video projects

  • Work with producers, digital teams, brand and project management to understand the project scope and objectives

  • Collaborate with art directors to create, edit and animate visual assets

  • Brainstorm with various client  teams to come up with new creative solutions

  • Prepare conceptual layouts and create storyboards for motion graphic projects as needed

  • Create animatics from storyboards

  • Assist in selecting appropriate stock footage, music, graphic and animation styles for the project

  • Encode, convert and edit videos and add effects/enhance with motion graphics elements.

  • Provide accurate time estimates for each part of the process

  • Continuously explore the latest in animation innovation, emerging technologies, production design evolution, and current musical landscapes to create groundbreaking work that pushes boundaries and captures attention.

  • Color correct and finalize video projects.

Requirements

The requirements and experience the Video Editor/Motion Designer will need include:

  • 3-5  years of experience as a Video Editor and/or Motion Designer

  • A website or reel that showcases related work

  • Basic understanding of motion graphics and video creation, including experience with or willingness to learn design fundamentals, layout, color & typography basics

  • Experience with Cinema 4D, RED, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Audition is preferred, but not required

  • Strong sense of aesthetic and pacing, with the ability to effectively utilize both created and provided brand assets.

  • Ability to meet quick turn deadlines while working on multiple team projects

  • Solid understanding of raw video files, exporting, transcoding and compression

  • Attention to visual details and accuracy

  • Ability to mediate creative problems in an efficient manner

  • Quality-control mindset with the patience to review carefully

  • Excellent communication skills and patience when it comes to revisions

  • Color correct and polish finalized video projects for client delivery
