Signal Theory has welcomed its 2026 class of summer interns. Eight students representing five universities across the country will join the agency’s Kansas City office, gaining hands-on experience across art direction, copywriting, content strategy, account management and production.
This year’s class brings diverse talent from various backgrounds, disciplines and pathways into the industry – including one Resonance Scholarship recipient, two BLAC Program students and five students selected through Signal Theory’s open internship application process.
“Every year we’re blown away by the talent that applies to our internship program, and this year’s class is no exception,” said Nancy Lischer, Senior Talent Acquisition Manager at Signal Theory. “Last year, several of our interns went on to join Signal Theory full-time. We’re proud to play a role in developing the next generation of creative talent here in Kansas City.”
Signal Theory’s internship program reflects the agency’s broader commitment to cultivating boundary-pushing creative talent – reinforcing its value that the best work comes from a wide range of fresh perspectives.
“We believe remarkable brands are built by remarkable people,” said John January, co-CEO of Signal Theory. “Investing in young talent that reflects the diversity of the audiences we serve is central to who we are and how we create our best work.”
The 2026 internship program runs from May 26 through August 13, giving students nearly three months of hands-on agency experience.
