Andy’s Frozen Custard Selects Signal Theory as AOR for Creative and Strategic Partnership Ahead of 40th Anniversary
Andy’s Frozen Custard has named Signal Theory as its agency of record (AOR) for creative and strategic services. This partnership comes as Andy’s prepares to celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2026, marking a continued chapter of growth and innovation for the brand.
Founded in 1986 in Osage Beach, Mo., Andy’s has grown to over 170 locations in 15 states. The Andy’s Frozen Custard brand is known for its signature concretes, sundaes, malts and seasonal specialties, and supports its local community in every neighborhood it serves.
As AOR, Signal Theory will lead Andy’s Frozen Custard’s brand strategy, creative campaigns, digital and social media, content development and integrated marketing efforts. The agency will also support new store launches, menu innovation and community engagement initiatives, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand experience across all touchpoints.
“2026 will mark Andy’s 40th year of serving our loyal fans, and this milestone is the perfect opportunity to both honor our heritage and introduce our brand to new customers nationwide,” said Andy Kuntz, CEO and owner of Andy’s Frozen Custard. “Partnering with Signal Theory at this pivotal moment allows us to celebrate four decades of delighting guests while positioning Andy’s for continued growth. Together, we’re going to create memorable experiences for our current fans and welcome the next generation of Andy’s enthusiasts.”
With the addition of Andy’s Frozen Custard, Signal Theory continues to grow its expertise in food marketing, after winning California Milk Advisory Board, launching new initiatives for SONIC® America’s Drive-In and creating a new campaign for the American Pecan Promotion Board.
“Andy’s has spent four decades creating comfort and joy through frozen custard,” said John January, co-CEO of Signal Theory. “We’re here to help them tell that story in ways that connect new fans to what makes a Nutty Waffle Crunch Concrete or a freshly made BootDaddy more than just dessert – they’re moments that bring people together.”
